Usually head to New Mexico to view some of the ancient archaeological sites throughout various parts of the state.  In the past the society has visited Bandelier National Monument along with the Cibola National Forest and toured through archaeological sites in the immediate area.  Car pooling is common along with borrowing/renting gear for this trip.  Meetings prior to the trip are used to organize members and distribute information to participants.  This trip usually occurs in October.
