WELCOME

ACS-SA is a student organization at Texas Tech University (in Lubbock, TX), whose purpose is to spread chemical awareness in the community.  This has been accomplished in the past through such events as:
  • Chemistry 'Magic' Shows for local elementary schools, nursing homes, and women's shelter
  • A Sodium Polyacrylate contest for local schoolchildren
  • Chemistry Wheel of Fortune at Texas Tech University
  • Monthly meetings with speakers in the Chemical Industry
We have lots more fun and exciting ways to spread Chemical Awareness this year!
