Free grief recovery groups at Hospice of Lubbock

Dear all,

Hospice of Lubbock is a non-profit organization which takes care of terminally ill patients and their families, and people who have lost a loved one.

It offers free grief support groups for children ages 3-17 who have had someone special in their life die. The group meets every Monday night beginning September 18th from 7 to 8:30pm for eight weeks. The first group meeting which was held last week was mainly registration and playing games. It is not late if you come in today. Groups are held at Hospice of Lubbock Grief Recovery Center: 1102 Slide Road, Ste. 3. (806) 795-2751.

There is an adult grief support group at Green Lawn Church same time every Monday evening. The address is:

There is an Infant Loss Support Group for mothers who have lost a baby. This group is held on the first Thursday every month from 7 to 8:30pm at Hospice of Lubbock.
