ACSSL Presidential Election

Dear all,

ACSSL Presidential Election is coming soon! It is almost time for ACSSL to
have a new president. Members who are willing to serve our Texas Tech Chinese community, to make more friends, and to just have fun are strongly encouraged to run.

According to “Article Ⅳ ELECTIONS AND OFFICERS” of the Constitution/Bylaws of Association of Chinese Students and Scholars in Lubbock (ACSSL), the last week of February in each year is the voting week to elect the new president of ACSSL. The presidency candidates shall be a member who is endorsed by more than two current members of executive committee.

The presidency campaign will start today. The procedure of election will follow as:

v February 10th: Nominations Deadline

All nominations (including Self-nomination) for the President must be received no later than February 10th. Nominations can be sent to Cixin He at cixinhe@yahoo.com .

v February 13th: Candidate Statements Deadline

All Candidate Statements must be received by February 13th.

v February 19th: Electronic voting via email starts. All your current ACSSL registered email will be the valid vote. Your vote needs to email to ACSSL_VOTE@yahoo.com .

v February 25th: Voting Deadline.

v March 1st: The new President Accession.
