Welcome to Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas! We are very glad that you join in our community. Association of Chinese Students and Scholars in Lubbock (ACSSL) is an international, non-profit, autonomous organization founded by the Chinese students and scholars at Texas Tech University. The purpose of ACSSL is to promote communication among the body of Chinese students, scholars and Texas Tech community, defend members’ legal rights, provide members with various services, and contribute to cultural diversity in Texas Tech.
A membership is free to anyone whoever would like to express his or her interest in joining ACSSL and bear required obligation. Now to be a member is much easier than ever! We have arranged for a free “Welcome Barbeque” party to get all you guys familiar with different new faces here and make you feel more relaxed here like homeJ. The party will be held on Coleman Hall (Northwest of cross between 19th Street and Flint Ave.) @ 5:00 PM on September 1st (Friday). And transportation will be provided for all new students. Don’t miss out this great opportunity to show up and bring in as many as your friends as possible!
