Frequently Asked Questions
When I enter my eRaider username and password, I see a blank screen or receive an error message. What should I do?
Step 1: Clear your browser's cache and cookies:
Step 2: If doing this does not work, you will need to try and login using another browser then the one you're currently using.
Step 3: If you are still unable to login successfully, you will have to login from another computer, as this issue is specific to the computer you're currently using.
When will the course be available?
July 30, 2007.
I am a transfer student. Do I need to complete AlcoholEdu?
No, only incoming students are expected to complete the course.
What will happen if I do not complete AlcoholEdu by the deadlines?
Your name will be referred to to Student Judicial Programs if you do not complete both Part 1 and 2 by the October 19, 2007 deadline.
Can you tell me where on campus I can use a computer
to complete AlcoholEdu?
Computers are available through the ATLC. Visit www.depts.ttu.edu/itts/labs/
for more information. Some colleges and departments also have labs
for student use. Visit www.depts.ttu.edu/itts/labs/other/
for the current listing.
I am having technical problems, what should I do?
Should you experience any difficulties or require support, the AlcoholEdu
Online Technical Support Center is available 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week. Go to www.alcoholedu.com
and simply click on the "Help" button located in the upper
right-hand corner of every AlcoholEdu for College screen or call
1-866-384 9062. You do not need to be logged into
the course to access the Help Site.
I am not sure if my computer meets the technical requirements
to support the course.

technical requirements. If you do not have ready access to a computer
that meets the minimum technical requirements, you may try using
a computer at a local library, copy center or community center.

What is AlterEdu?
- This is a social networking site that college students who seek vibrant social and intellectual experiences that aren't defined by alcohol can become a part of. If you agree that college is about more than just drinking, AlterEdu is a community for you.
How do I sign up?
- Students are asked to join at the end of Module 2 and through the My AlcoholEdu page (the "one-stop shop" for key course information).
What can I get out of registering with AlterEdu?
- Meet and connect with other like-minded students who don't drink or choose not to on any given night
- Find strength in numbers.
- Hear about and get involved in social activities both at Tech and in the community
