AlcoholEdu® for College
Message to Parents
Dear Red Raider Parent,
Your student’s ability to learn and strive for honor is enhanced when he/she is a member
of a safe and healthy community. Part of creating such a community is providing
campus-wide approaches to health and using tools such as AlcoholEdu® for College.
Every first-year freshman at Texas Tech is required to complete the two part AlcoholEdu® course.
Your student will need to complete Part 2 of AlcoholEdu® before the October 19, 2007
deadline. When the student is invited to take Part 2 of the AlcoholEdu® course, please
ensure they are visiting http://alcoholedu.ttu.edu to access login instructions and other
important information.
If you have questions, please contact Amanda Eldredge, Health Educator for Student
Health Services at alcoholedu@ttuhsc.edu or (806) 743-2844 ext. 290. Please note that
if you feel your student should not take this course, a request for a waiver may be sent
to Amanda Eldredge at alcoholedu@ttuhsc.edu. Waiver requests will be reviewed and
granted on a case by case basis.
Sincerely,
