Our Mission
To promote the Republican Party platform and to aide and assist in the election of
Republican Party candidates through being the conservative Republican voice on the Texas
Tech campus. And to promote relations with the Senior Party, other conservative
organizations, candidates, and office holders.
Profile
Who are the College Republicans?
The college Republicans are the nations largest and oldest Republican Student
Organization. College Republicans play a vital role in recruiting, educating, and
involving many students in the Republican Party. College Republicans believe in a balanced
budget, lower taxes, smaller and smarter government, entitlement reform, a legal system
tough on criminals, and human rights.
Leadership Training
We give you the opportunity to gain valuable leadership experience at every level. You
will have the opportunity to attend leadership training schools such as Morton Blackwill
Leadership Institute. Tech CR's have served as delegates to the State Republican Party
Convention, and interned with many important political officials. Through participation in
Tech CR's you will learn about fund raising, how to organize and plan events, how to deal
with the media, and most importantly how to be an effective political activist.
Campaign Experience
Tech CR's offer many opportunities to play an active role in Republican Campaigns at
the local, state, and national level. You can make a difference on the GOP congressional
or senate race for President of the United States.
