Market Lubbock, Inc. (now the Lubbock Economic Development Alliance) Regional Workforce Study
Telephone survey of over 3,000 employing organizations within a 90-mile radius of Lubbock. Study focused on employment statistics for specific industries and occupations, including turnover rates, wage rates, benefits and job availability. See www.orgs.ttu.edu/regionallabormarketsurvey2004.

Trans Texas Corridor Stakeholder Survey
Telephone survey of 250 key stakeholders sponsored by the Texas Department of Transportation. Survey asked about opinions regarding current transportation issues in the state and the proposed Trans Texas Corridor project. See www.txdot.state.tx.us/ttc/ttc_home.htm.

Texas Department of Transportation Parking Lot Survey
Field data collection of information from over 16,000 vehicles located in 8 counties throughout the state. Utilized handheld PC data entry technology and entry/verification programs developed by Texas Tech staff.

Demographic Study of Texas Lottery Players
Telephone survey of 1,200 adult Texas residents sponsored by the Texas Lottery Commission. Survey items included self-reported lottery participation behaviors and respondent demographics.

Amarillo Parks & Recreation
Telephone survey of 556 randomly selected residents of Amarillo, Texas. Survey items pertained to use of and satisfaction with public park and recreation facilities.

Texas Statewide Citizen Survey
Telephone survey of 410 randomly selected residents of the State of Texas. Included questions about the 2002 gubernatorial and U.S. senatorial campaigns as well as some policy-oriented items.

Risk Perception Survey
Telephone survey of 578 randomly selected residents of the greater Lubbock and Houston areas. Survey items asked about perceived risk associated with various individual behaviors and external elements.

Office of Rural Community Affairs Relocation Assessment
Telephone survey of 242 randomly selected public officials to assess opinion regarding the possible reorganization of the Texas Office of Rural Community Affairs.

Office of Rural Community Affairs Citizen Survey
Telephone survey of 409 randomly selected individuals living in one of the rural counties of Texas (as defined by the Census). Survey questions asked about awareness of the Office of Rural Community Affairs, interactions with the Office, and opinion regarding the needs of rural communities.

Texas Tech Parent Profile Study
Telephone/mail/web survey of over 900 parents of current Tech students. Topics included perceptions of the university along several dimensions and the quality and dynamics of the parent-student relationship. Sponsored by the Texas Tech Office of Parent Relations.

Texas Tech Athletic Fee Survey
Telephone survey of 856 randomly selected students of Texas Tech University and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center asking opinions about proposed athletic fees.

Texas Tech University-Junction Survey
Mail survey of 3,500 Junction area students and residents soliciting input on the curriculum of the Texas Tech University-Junction campus and satellite campuses.

Georgia Caregiver Survey
Survey of unpaid caregivers in the State of Georgia conducted for the Georgia Division of Aging Services (under subcontract with Georgia State University).

Lubbock Parks & Recreation
Telephone survey of 748 randomly selected citizens of the City of Lubbock. Items concerned opinions of possible public recreation facility.

Texas Tech University Student Climate Survey
Telephone survey of 1,545 current TTU and TTUHSC students concerning the social and academic climate of the University, particularly with regard to issues related to race.

Texas Tech University Faculty & Staff Climate Survey
Mail and web survey of 796 staff and 506 faculty concerning the social and work climate of the University with special attention to matters related to race and gender.
