PRESIDENT OF EWB
The
President acts as the figurehead
for the local chapter. They are the main point of contact with the EWB-USA,
industry, and potential members. As such the president provides the
direction for the organization as well as acting as the general manager
for the Executive Officers. The President works to ensure the organization
remains on track
and keeps moving forward with their efforts.
The President should have good
people skills as he/she will need to be able to talk
to many different types of people, from industry leaders to students.
They should also feel comfortable with or otherwise have the ablity
to speak to crowds. In order to be eligible for nomination as President
a member must have been a former officer on the executive council which
includes any of the following positions:
President
Vice-President
Secretary
Treasurer
Public Relations
Liaison
Committee Chair
