Annual Field Tour and Chuck Wagon Dinner
Our Field Tour and dinner will be posted as more details become available. If you would like to see our site for your self, directions are at the link below. If you have a group of individuals who would like an individual tour, please give us a call and we will be happy to help any way we can. (See following link for specific directions: http://www.orgs.ttu.edu/forageresearch/directio.htm)
Everyone interested in our program is invited to attend this event. We will have our graduate students on site to discuss their current projects, as well as cover our Integrated Crop/Livestock Systems Research Projects. Many unique individuals will be present with expertise in various aspects of our program. These individuals will be from Texas Tech University, USDA-ARS, USDA-NRCS, Texas A&M Research and Extension, High Plains Underground Water Conservation District, and various representatives of industries and other companies involved in the equipment, construction and installation of our research components. This is a great opportunity for you to see some of our current ongoing research as we strive to provide this area of the Texas High Plains with new methods and current technologies in the field of Alternative Crop/ Livestock Systems. Our goal is to meet the current needs of this area and get the information out by which our producers can be better informed and be better prepared for the future. Hope to see you at our next Field Tour!
