Travel Information

ANNOUNCEMENT:

In an effort to make GOCoPS the most efficient and active organization it can be to serve you, it was decided at the August 2010 meeting that we are instituting a due date for annual dues. Remember, ALL counseling students are considered members of GOCoPS though dues-paying members have the added advantage of being able to apply for travel funding from GOCoPS and can hold an officer position. The annual dues of $20 will be due by October 1st to Megan Thoen (GOCoPS treasurer). The dues can be placed in her mail box or given to her in person (checks made out to Counseling Council or GOCoPS). If you do not pay dues, you cannot be eligible for funding.

To be eligible for funding, you also must participate in one GOCoPS event each semester, and assist with the Annual Farewell Banquet.

The dues paid by October 1st will be good for the 2011-2012 academic year, ending at the beginning of the 2011-2012 academic year. Please contact Megan (megan.martinez@ttu.edu) if you have questions. Thank you!

GOCoPS will try to reimburse you for a portion of your conference registration fee for one conference per academic year. Amount of reimbursement is dependent on the number of other applicants seeking funds for the academic year.
