Goin' Band Travel Plans For Baylor Game
The following is the most current information available on the travel plans for the Baylor Football Game at the Dallas Cowboys' Stadium in Arlington: Band members will have their last rehearsal of Thanksgiving week on Monday, November 23rd. Band members must have already signed up on the appropriate sheets located in the band hall over the last couple of weeks to indicate if they plan to travel by bus or on their own to and from Dallas. If band members are travelling on their own, they must report to the hotel, Hilton Lincoln Park Centre, no later than 8 p.m. on Friday, November 27th. There will be buses leaving Lubbock on Friday morning, also buses will depart from Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Waco, and Abilene. Note: these buses will not return to these cities on Sunday, but will all travel to Lubbock from the hotel. There will be rehearsal on Saturday morning, at a location and time yet to be announced. (When it is announced, it will be placed on this website.) Students will return to the hotel after the game on Saturday evening. Buses will depart for Lubbock on Sunday.

2008 Season DVD Now on Sale!
The 2008 Season of the Goin' Band is now on DVD and for sale for $20.00. You can purchase this in person in Room 102 of the School of Music, or by mail at TTU, School of Music, Box 42033, Lubbock, Texas, 79409, Attn: Debbie Holt. Please make your check or money order payable to Texas Tech University and include the address where you wish to have the DVD mailed.

Goin' Band Travel Plans
Our travel plans are changing by the minute. In response to the many phone calls and emails, we can tell you that the band will be travelling to the following games: University of Texas, University of Houston, Cowboy Stadium in Arlington in November, and, hopefully, to another Bowl game this year.

Thanksgiving Holidays Game
Yes, to your questions. The band will be going to Arlington on November 27 and 28 to perform at halftime during the TTU vs. Baylor football game in the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium. There will be further announcements as time passes regarding travel arrangements for band members, etc.

Refund Process
Please keep in mind that if you do not make the band, it is up to you to email your name and mailing address for your refund to debbie.holt@ttu.edu. Please make sure you include the name of the person the refund check is to be made payable to in your email. Keep in mind that refunds come from the university, not the band, and can take from 6 to 10 weeks to be mailed to you.

Feature Twirlers Selected
The Goin' Band from Raiderland will showcase two Feature Twirlers this coming football season. They are Chelsea Gotcher and Amanda Tolley. Congratulations ladies!
