JOIN US FOR
SHABBAT!
Every Semester, the Hillel
Society at Texas Tech University holds weekly services (except during High Holidays, Finals and
Vacations). These are the among our most popular gatherings, and
we welcome comments and suggestions for future Shabbats. Along with weekly on-campus services, Texas Tech Hillel is an active part of Congregation Shaareth Israel here in Lubbock. The synagogue is incredibly supportive of Hillel and helps create our Jewish home away from home.
It is extremely important to Hillel that our members attend our services held on campus. These services generally start around 5:00 and run about 30 minutes. Of course the organization is entirely students, we understand the stress of class and work can weigh a person down; but we see this as all the more reason TO attend rather than an excuse not to. Our Jewish presence at Texas Tech is very important and we are proud to represent Judaism here in Lubbock. Help show your pride at Hillel Shabbat!
