What about accommodation when I arrive?
You will be accommodated in the houses of Indian students who are currently studying here till you find accommodation. Keeping the convenience of your host students in mind, there will be a 4 day limit to your stay. You're encouraged to find housing as soon as possible. If you are compelled to stay for a longer time, then email us and we'll make some arrangements.

What are my housing options?
Very few (practically none) students actually go in for on-campus housing especially if you are very particular about your food habits. Off campus housing is by far the most popular with incoming students. There are apartment complexes near the campus which have 1/2/3 bedroom options and a room can be shared according to the rules of the complexes. These apartments have to be reserved in person usually.

What is the amount I should bring and in what form?
There can never be a clear and precise answer to this question. It all depends on the individual.
Tuition: There are basically two types of tuitions here, the in-state and the out-state. The students with scholarship, Research Assistants and the Teaching Assistants pay in-state while the Student Assistants (the regular part time jobs) and other students without aid pay out-state.
The out-state tuition for each semester is approx.
Fall $4000-4500 (3 courses)
Spring $4000-4500 (3 courses)
Summer $1250 (1 course)
Fees have to be paid in full. There are options of paying in installments in the Fall and Spring semester. The fees can also be paid by Emergency loan system. The in-State tuition for each semester is approximately half of the out-state tuition
