List of Books

This list has been prepared by the departmental contacts and other students from the departments. They have tried their best to compile the same. There is no guarantee that all these books would be available in India. Just get the ones that are easily available. Please remember that books add to a lot of weight. If your department books are not listed here, please contact the respective departmental contact.

ARCHITECTURE

The department has 3 programs for Masters students: Historical preservation, Community development and Visualization. None of these programs require books.
Architecture is completely based on design and studios. It is also not required to get Architectural Instruments like T-square, rotering pens, set squares etc, at least in TTU.

OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS:

Bring a UNIX manual, many classes will ask you to use the Unix systems.

It is recommended that you get a reference manual on your favorite language (C, Java, Python, Lisp etc..).

Whatever you use the most, classes here are most of the time not language specific, so you can use the language of your choice.
