Dear Prospective Texas Tech Freshman,

Congratulations on your wonderful choice to attend Texas Tech in Lubbock.  Texas Tech University offers a great education as well as a learning experience to those who attend. College life offers a great chance to make new life long friends as the years that lie ahead of you will be the best of your life.  Within the educational institution lies the Greek fraternity system that can greatly enhance your years in college as well as the years beyond your college life.

As a member of Kappa Alpha Order, I have first-hand experience of the doors the Greek system has opened for me.  Kappa Alpha has introduced me to my closest friends and built a life long network of brotherhood.  We are known as the gentlemen of the fraternity system and strive for excellence in everything.  Nationally, we were founded in 1865 at Washington and Lee University and locally, Texas Tech’s Gamma Chi chapter was founded in 1961.  The brothers of Kappa Alpha would like the opportunity to meet you as well as extend you the chance to meet us.

These events will be a great time for all, and we would be honored to have you.  All of the brothers of Kappa Alpha would more than happy to help out with travel arrangements, questions, further information, etc.  Our website has further information as well so feel free to log on at www.orgs.ttu.edu/kappaalpahaorder. Thank you for your time and we look forward to meeting you this summer or in the fall.
