Membership
ARTICLE III - MEMBERSHIP
Composition
A. The Association shall be
composed of two types of membership: Regular and Associate members.
1. Regular Members. The
Association shall be open to all Latino(a) and Hispanics who are
faculty, administrators, or staff at Texas Tech University and all
those within Texas Tech University who are interested in promoting
the goals and objectives of the Association. Only those regular
members who have paid annual dues to the association will be
considered “members in good standing” and have specific membership
privileges.
2. Associate Members. The
Association shall be open to all Latino(a) and Hispanics who are
graduate students at Texas Tech University, and all those within
Texas Tech University who are interested in promoting the goals and
objectives of the Association.
Membership Privileges
A. All Regular members in good
standing have a right to vote, hold office, serve as committee
chairs, or serve on committees.
B. Associate members can attend
meetings, serve on committees, and participate in Association
activities.
Membership Dues
A. Membership dues shall be

are $15.00 per year.
B. The membership year shall be
from September 1 through August 31.
C. Dues paid before September 30
of each year shall count for the current membership year.
D. Dues paid on October 1 or later
shall count for the following membership year.
