The Lubbock Chapter is an organization of students, and a recognized organization at Texas Tech. It is a mission sponsored by the Texas District, Lutheran Church -Missouri Synod, and locally supported by Redeemer Lutheran, Christ Lutheran, and Hope Lutheran of the Missouri Synod and Shepherd King Lutheran, Gloria Dei Lutheran Church of the Evangelical Lutheran Churches in America (ELCA). All focus on a common goal. The Lutheran Student Fellowship (LSF) is a family of college students seizing everyday opportunities to reach out with the love of Christ.
Fellowship
As with the national mission, we support and care for one another in college life and provide means and opportunities to get together often. We have one or two retreats per year to explore various facets of Christian life in the college world of Texas Tech, Lubbock Christian University, South Plains.
We reach out to all students who know Christ and want to grow and to those who don't know the Lord. We invite all into the family of God.
Supper on Sundays is provided by local Congregations and Organizations and is from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. each Sunday followed by a one hour Bible Study.
