Women's Proctective Service

"Women's Protective Service (WPS) provides a safe haven for physically, emotionally, and sexually abused women and their dependent children. WPS offers a comprehensive resident and outreach program. Services provided are 24-hour crisis hotline, 24-hour transportation, basic life necessities such as food, clothing and personal hygiene items, social referral (day care, housing opportunities, income assistance, group and individual counseling for women and children), and legal advocacy."  (Provided from WPS website.)

Miller Girls proudly provide volunteer service to the Women’s Protective Services   We have helped to answer the phones at the front desk, operate the security gates, and even monitor the surveillance cameras.  This service project usually lasts two hours each visit.
