Minutes 1-18-05

 

President:

·        Welcome back

·        Any suggestions or proposals are always welcome.

·        MG Finances

o       You will be charged $25 for every bounced check, plus the amount you wrote the bounced check for.

o       Treasurers will make frequent deposits to help out with this.

 

Treasurers:

·        Due next week:

o       $50 – 1^st ½ dues

o       $15 for rush T- THIS MUST BE PAID FOR BY NEXT WEEK OR YOU DON’T GET ONE AND CAN’T ATTEND RUSH.

 

Civics:

·        Upcoming civics:

o       Habitat for Humanity- this weekend @ Duke & Ave. U.; 3 shifts from 9-3 pm; contact Elizabeth if you would like to participate.

·        New civic ideas-

o       MS Walk (April)- decide now if you want to this and form teams.

o       Relay for Life- sign up TONIGHT.

·        Pass out holdover slips-

o       However many hours you did not complete last semester, you must double that and complete this semester.

 

Fundraisers:

·        Info sheet- be sure to pick one up from Emilee; it’s a very detailed list of all fundraisers for the Spring.

 

Socials:

·        Party plans-

o       Theta Xi- South Pacific party

o       Mardi Gras party

 

Pledge Trainers:

·        Rush-

o       Rush workshop is next week.

o       1/31-2/2; Lubbock Inn @ 6:30

·        Rush T-shirts-

o       Must order them by tonight, and pay for them by next Monday.

·        Sig parties- sign up tonight, and turn in sig sheet by the first day of rush.

·        Skit crew- meet with Terra tonight if interested.

 

Standards:

·        Standards board-

o       Whitney Ramage was elected for the Fall 2004 pledge class representative.

 

Sisterhood:
