Funding Request

To receive funding from the PGSA, you must be a member of the organization.  All members of the organization may apply for money to attend conferences, give papers at other universities, or participate in philosophical activities.  PGSA operates on a tight budget and funding can never be guaranteed for any particular request, yet all current members are invited to apply for funding.  Please submit requests for funding well in advance of the event which you will need funding for.

Funding requests are handled as such:  General funding allotments are set by the President and Treasurer at the beginning of the fiscal year (August 1st).  After submitting a funding request you must meet with PGSA's Treasurer to make a preliminary examination of your request (to make sure everything is in order).  After this meeting with the Treasurer the funding requests is voted upon by active members of the organization at the next PGSA meeting after being open to discussion and debate.
