About Student CEC
What is Student CEC?
Student
Council for Exceptional Children is a student organization
within the College of Education at Texas Tech University.
Student CEC offers pre-service teachers the opportunity
to learn more about their future profession.
Why should I join Student
CEC?
As a member of Student CEC you will benefit in many ways.
First and foremost, you will be able to make contacts
with other pre-professionals that
are interested in the same
field of education as you are. You will receive
a
regular
newsletter that will keep you up to date with the
events going on in our chapter. After paying
your dues you will also begin receiving the national
newsletter and periodical published by the
Council for Exceptional Children.
What else does Student CEC
do?
Student CEC is a student organization that strives to
be active in the
Lubbock Independent School District
community. In the past, student CEC has helped at the annual
Buddy Festival in the fall, as well as other community
service projects that enable the members of student CEC to stay involved.
