What is a Registered Dietitian?

  • A Registered Dietitian (RD) is a food and food and nutrition expert who has met the  following criteria to earn the RD credential:

    Completed a minimum of a bachelor's degree.

    Completed a CADE accredited supervised practice program.

    Passed a national examination.

    Completed continuing professional educational requirements.
