"Scholarships awarded by the ADAF are generally for students/members enrolled in: the junior or senior year in a baccalaureate or coordinated program in dietetics, or the second year of study in a dietetic technician program, or the AP4 or dietetic internship program, or a graduate program. One application form is used for all ADAF scholarships. The number of scholarships available and the dollar amount vary from year-to-year. The September 2003 Journal of The American Dietetic Association includes detailed information about ADAF scholarships and general qualifications.
The ADAF scholarship form is also available on ADA's Web site or by contacting the Education and Accreditation Team, 800/877-1600, ext. 5400, email: education@eatright.org. Applications are available annually between mid-September through mid-January and the annual deadline for submitting applications is mid-February.
