The Iron Raider Powerlifting team travelled to the University of Texas in Austin, Texas on November 17th, 2006 for the USAPL Longhorn Open Powerlifting meet. Members that attended the meet were Bobby Warren (Coach/Handler), Brian Warren (Team Captain/Handler), Nick King (132), Nick Brittain (165), Daron Chatham (198), and Michael Bristol (198). Those who competed were in their respective weight classes and competed as Collegiate lifters pursuing the needed qualifying total for USAPL Collegiate Nationals in April of 2007. Bobby Warren and Meagan Pollock compete in the USAPL Summerfest, August 12, 2006 in Killeen, Texas. The goal for each was to qualify for Collegiate Nationals in the Spring of 2007. Bobby totaled an impressive 1215.5 pounds in the 181 pound weight class in the junior division capturing the first place prize, while setting four personal records. Meagan competed unequipped in the 165 pound class and totaled 687.5 pounds. She also won first in the junior division and was honored with the Most Outstanding Female Lifter Award. With a conservative approach, both Bobby and Meagan easily met their qualifying totals. Congratulations for a job well done!

Lifters Stephanie Bennett and Meagan Pollock along with Coach Bobby Warren traveled to Las Vegas to compete in the NASA USA Nationals vs. the USPF team on June 17-18, 2006. Stephanie totaled 990 pounds, and Meagan totaled 973.5 pounds. The ladies were invited to compete on the Women's National Team which won 1st place, and Bobby was invited to be a coach for the men's team, which also won 1st place. Meagan, and Stephanie both set several American and World Records. All three worked very hard to prepare for the meet and enjoyed a great weekend in FABULOUS Las Vegas! Congratulations!

Team competes at NASA Meet, May 13th, Hereford, Texas, and wins 1st place team trohpy, as well as individual 1st awards to each lifter. Iron Raider Lifters included: Brian Warren, Scott Smith, Chris Garcia, Stephanie Bennett, Meagan Pollock, and three guest lifters including Clyde Lynne, Kirby Lambert, and a local lifter from Brownfield High School.
