The Texas Tech University Student Chapter of TSPE is dedicated to the promotion and protection of the profession of engineering as a social and economic influence vital to the welfare of the community, the great State of Texas, and the United States of America, and all mankind.

The TSPE Chapter of Texas Tech University was established in Fall of 1998. The organization's primary objective is to inform and educate engineering students about becoming professional engineers. It is important to emphasize that the TSPE is a professional organization for all engineering disciplines, not just one technical discipline such as electrical or civil.

Promotion of the Texas Tech College of Engineering and of Texas Tech University is also an objective of the TSPE. We pursue this through our high school programs (Texas Engineering Challenge and MathCounts) that attract high quality students to our campus, through strengthening our relationship with the South Plains Chapter TSPE, through industry contacts originating as a result of our programs, and through fundraising efforts.

Our members must be full-time students enrolled in the College of Engineering at Texas Tech University. We invite you to Join the Tech TSPE Chapter today!
