 In order to accomplish all of the events and activities we have this year, funds are a must!  Our biggest fundraiser is the Scholastic Book Fair; we also rely on the local community to provide donations for our events.  If you have any other ideas for fundraisers or if you would like to help in our fundraisers please contact Lisa Rex. 

SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR DONATIONS

Each semester our chapter hosts a Scholastic Book Fair on the Texas Tech campus as a fundraising event for TSTA-SP.  It is the prefect opportunity for a future teacher to begin their classroom library or for any existing teacher to expand theirs.  A portion of what is earned is donated to the Learning Resource Center.  

This year our book fair will be October 11-14 and Feb 21-25 in the basement of the College of Education Building.  Each day it will be open from 8am - 6pm, so come by and check it out.  It is always a great place to get the books you need for class as well.

  For many of the things we do we rely on donations from the local community.  Donations include door prizes, paper goods, and other give away type items for our carnival and STEP Conference.  If you know of a business or individual that would be willing to donate some of their product to TSTA-SP please contact Lisa Rex.
