Courtney won first in the barrel racing at Tarleton and placed at several other events this spring. It was with regret that we had to make the un-popular decision to chose the four team members above to advance for a shot at the national championships. One of the key reasons was that we felt we would have a more comprehensive shot with two barrel racers, one goat tier, and one breakaway roper as apposed to three barrel racers
Also representing Texas Tech is 2008 Southwest region champion Header (team roping event) Jake Brown-Agriculture & Applied Economics- Stephenville, TX-Junior Will be roping w/ partner Jaytin McCright of Clarendon College at the CNFR this June.
