Former Tech Rodeo Member featured in new Wrangler promotions Posted 10.23.09

By RG de Stolfe

Tech Rodeo Team members usually continue rodeoing after they graduate. Many continue with the Pro Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) circuit or some other professional rodeo organization. Recently featured in Wrangler 20X promotions, Tech Rodeo alumni Stetson Vest is center stage in a marketing campaign for Wrangler 20X jeans. In an email newsletter sent by Wrangler, a top five list of why Wrangler likes cooler weather states this in part three:

“ 3. The No. 33 jean, relaxed straight leg, for guys. Roper Stetson Vest is wearing it (see right). Enough said.”

Stetson Vest, from Childress, Texas competed for Texas Tech from 2004? to 2008 in calf roping, team roping, and steer wrestling. He was an Animal Science and Chemistry major.
