Most of Dr. Jeff Lee’s research revolves around wind erosion in arid and semiarid lands.  Mainly, he and his colleagues look at the many factors that control the variation of erosion occurring over both time and space.  He is author of a textbook, The Scientific Endeavor: A Primer on Scientific Principles and Practice

Dr. Lee is a member of the Texas Tech Teaching Academy and serves as graduate advisor for the Interdisciplinary Masters in Arid Lands Studies and International Development.  He is a member of the Association of American Geographers, American Association for the Advancement of Science, and the American Geographical Society

Courses Taught
Physical Geography, Geomorphology in Environmental Management, Geography of Arid Lands, Seminar in Geography, Field Seminar in Geography, Honors Integrated Science, The Nature of Science for Teachers
